Ten Years After have announced that their current lineup is splitting up after 10 years together. The UK rock legends will play their final shows in Germany later this year. But in an unexpected development, the group will continue on in the future with a revamped lineup. The band made the announcement in an Instagram post on Sunday (September 30), only two days after their performance at the Lahnstein Blues Festival in Germany. The band’s current lineup features founding members Chick Churchill on keys and drummer Ric Lee, along with guitarist/vocalist Marcus Bonfanti and bassist Colin Hodgkinson, who “have decided, amicably, to finish playing together at their last dates in November.” However, Lee has plans to continue on recording and performing as Ten Years After with a new lineup. ”Ric plans to have the new band up and running early in 2025 and an album to be released in the spring,” reads the band’s Instagram statement.
